XXV GRETA Annual Conference "Listen to your heart; speak your mind"

GRETA, the English Teachers' Association of Andalucía is proud to announce the celebration of its XXV Annual Conference, which will take place on 8th, 9th and 10th of September 2011, at the University of Granada.

The present edition will mainly focus on the teaching and learning of oral skills and competences, what and how we teach and any methodological advances made in this field from a pragmatic point of view, as well as othe...r relevant issues concerning the teaching of English as a foreign language, organised in five main lines of work:

* Oral Skills and Competences: Are we really teaching what we should? Can we improve our teaching of Oral Skills? Critical analysis and new advances form a pragmatic point of view.

* The importance of emotional aspects in language acquisition.

* New Technologies applied to teaching and learning of oral skills.

* European dimension of Bilingual and Plurilingual Projects: programmes, projects, initiatives, ideas.

* Latest developments in ELT.

30 hours attendance will be certified by the Junta de Andalucía and university students will be certified 1.5 free configuration credits by their respective universities.
